2022年12月17-18日，中国地理信息产业协会国际交流与合作工作委员会与德清地理信息小镇科技工作者学会（“一带一路”地理信息国际培训中心）将通过线上线下相结合的方式联合推出首届“一带一路”地理信息国际合作研讨会。

中国地理信息产业协会国际交流与合作工委会（简称“国际交流工委会”）于2022年5月成立，致力于深度推进中国地理信息产业的国际交流与合作。半年多来，国际交流工委会已经吸引了44家国际交流与合作开展得比较成功的我国地理信息企业和高校成为委员单位，并与十多个国家的地理信息相关社团和机构建立了联系，组织多场卫星遥感、北斗导航、地理信息系统方面的线上国际培训以及留学生暑期学校和线下培训。工委会成员参加了在波兰举行的FIG2022（2022年9月11-15日）、在德国举行INTERGEO（2022年10月18-20日）、在浙江温州举行的世界青年科学家峰会（2022年11月11-13日）、在浙江金华举行第五届中非科技合作国际研讨会（2022年11月25-26日），以及第三届中蒙地理信息和位置应用合作研讨会（2022年6月22日）等，初步形成了推动中国地理信息产业国际化的工作机制。

“一带一路”地理信息国际培训中心是由浙江省科学技术学会联合德清地理信息小镇科技工作者学会申报并由德清地理信息小镇科技工作者学会具体负责运营，为中国科协的“一带一路”国际科技组织合作平台建设项目之一。自2021年7月获得中国科协批准以来，“一带一路”地理信息国际培训中心以中国科协推动“一带一路”科技人文交流工作的相关精神为指针，积极开展地理信息领域的国际培训，旨在充分运用地理信息技术助力“一带一路”沿线国家的经济发展与联合国2030可持续目标的实现。中心通过线上、线下培训和组织在华留学生来德清地理信息小镇研学等方式，吸引了全球5000多人次参训，并形成了由海内外地理信息领域20位专家学者组成的优质师资团队和10多门地理信息相关的精品培训课程。

为进一步做好中国地理信息产业协会国际交流与合作工作委员会相关工作，巩固并扩大“一带一路”地理信息国际培训中心的成果，在有关单位的大力支持下，中国地理信息产业协会国际交流与合作工作委员会与德清地理信息小镇科技工作者学会（“一带一路”地理信息国际培训中心）联合推出首届“一带一路”地理信息国际合作研讨会。具体通知如下：

The first Symposium on International Cooperation in the Belt and Road Geospatial Information Science and Industry (SIC-BRGIS)

On December 17-18, 2022, Working Committee on International Exchange and Cooperation of China Association for Geospatial Industry and Sciences and Deqing Association for Geospatial Information Professionals (The Belt and Road International Geospatial Information Training Center) will jointly launch the first Symposium on International Cooperation in the Belt and Road Geospatial Information Science and Industry (SIC-BRGIS) via online and onsite hybrid format.

Working Committee on International Exchange and Cooperation of China Association for Geospatial Industry and Sciences (hereinafter referred to as CAGIS-IEC) was established in May 2022 to further promote the international exchange and cooperation of China's geospatial information industry. Over the past half a year, CAGIS-IEC has attracted 44 Chinese geospatial information related enterprises and universities with relatively successful international exchanges and cooperation to become members, and has established contacts with geospatial information-related societies and institutions in more than ten countries, organized a number of online international training in satellite remote sensing, Beidou navigation, geographic information systems, summer schools for international students and onsite training courses as well. Furthermore, the members of CAGIS-IEC participated in FIG2022 (11-15 Sept 2022, Warsaw, Poland), INTERGEO 2022 (18-20 Oct 2022, Essen, Germany), WYSS2022 (World Young Scientist Summit, 11-13 Nov 2022, Wenzhou, Zhejiang Province, China), the 5^th International Symposium on China-Africa Science and Technology Cooperation (25-26 Nov 2022, Jinhua, Zhejiang Province, China), the 3rd China-Mongolia GIS Industry Forum(22 June 2022, online), etc., which initially formed a working mechanism to promote the internationalization of China's geospatial information industry.

As one of the platforms launched by The China Association for Science and Technology (CAST), the Belt and Road International Geospatial Information Training Center (BRGTC) was jointly applied by the Zhejiang Association for Science and Technology(ZAST) and Deqing Association for Geospatial Information Professionals(DQAGIP), and officially approved by CAST in July 2021. Since then, under guidance of the spirit of CAST in promoting exchanges in science and technology along the Belt and Road, BRGTC has actively carried out international training in the field of geospatial information, aiming to make full use of geospatial information technology to support the economic development of countries along the Belt and Road and the implementation of the United Nations 2030 Sustainable Development Goals. Through organizing online, onsite training courses and training tour for overseas students in Deqing Geospatial Information Town, the center has attracted more than 5,000 participants from all over the world, and has formed an excellent international teaching team composed of more 20 experts and scholars in the field of geospatial information and delivered more than 10 high-quality training courses related to geospatial information.

In order to further improve the relevant work of CAGIS-IEC and expand the achievements of BRGTC, with the strong support of relevant organizations, Working Committee on International Exchange and Cooperation of China Association for Geospatial Industry and Sciences and Deqing Association for Geospatial Information Professionals (The Belt and Road International Geospatial Information Training Center) jointly launched The first Symposium on International Cooperation in the Belt and Road Geospatial Information Science and Industry (SIC-BRGIS).
